Devereaux Frazier and Beth Amanda are currently hosting the Tuesday Writing Prompt Challenge which was started by our star writer Christine Ray. We hope to offer all of you something that will spark your creativity and willingness to participate.
The prompts are designed to be quick challenges that can be written in 10 to 15 minutes, inspire you creatively, are fun, and get everyone interacting. Please post your response to the prompt in the comments below and show your fellow posters some love and support. All members of the Go Dog Go community, including Baristas, are welcome to participate. Feel free to share this post on your own blogs and/or Facebook.

Here’s my contribution:
Raining Tears
It’s raining again,
endless rain
or so it seems
the clouds breaking,
fracturing,
letting it all pour out
as I watch
feeling
my heart breaking
bleeding like the rain,
the raindrops of my heart
pouring out like tears of blood.

sending love and positivity from LA ❤
"where the dusk of the living sighs"
You higher power
Holy Ghost
Dove of Peace
Lord of Abraham
i have always loved You
not in a temple home
or candles steeples crowns of thorns
i’ve loved You through his venomous smile
the flowers on the bush deathly sour
the raindrops of my heart
through the ruffian storm of my disease
the nails that bind me to this salt
that seasons human behavior
gawking at birds pinned in the drowsy sky
dots of tenuous freedom
i’ve loved You through his lips of lies
midnight dips
of hazed oblivion
through my veins i thought of You
hollering the choked mangled Hallelujahs
i have always loved You
on beds of death
i’ve laid my head to fester
my lips quivered caving inward
the name of the unobtainable Highest
cardboard hallowed sidewalk snares
i’ve loved You
fearful through the steps i took
where the dusk of the living sighs
