I am not
on the same page
with mom nature.
My wish for
a blue bird day
sparked guffaws, and
my references thought
as tomfoolery.
I feel frozen
and vulnerable to a
chilled wind as
mom nature dresses
and undresses my limbs
at her convenience,
not mine.
It’ll take a
blizzard of thoughts
and a forest without trees
for her to see
her lack of
fashion sense.
