Within my heart
lies a tale to be told
one of love’s adventures
in fields of giggly laughter
where sun’s rays
play our song
in sands of quiet honesty
where breaths of passion’s poetry
sing us to sleep
But it is our tale only
and I’ll simply
retell it to myself
over and over
again
