  5. I attended an ekphrastic poetry event on Sunday afternoon, and I found the whole process quite fascinating. I’ll introduce my post with this little micro poem that I wrote a few months ago, maybe to establish a feel/mood for my attached article. Thank you to ‘Go Dog Go Cafe’, for giving me this opportunity to promote my poem here on this wonderful community site.
    Below A Loyal Sky

    I hide behind a mask
    You’ll hear me ask
    At the veil sales
    Lurking in the back pews
    Sneaking a view
    From under a curtain of blue
    Indigo-blue, below a loyal sky
    Protecting my alien eyes

    My Monday was off to a rather busy start, but I finally found some time to share my latest poem.
