  1. I’ve only been blogging for just over a year, and I find that Go Dog Go Cafe, “Promote Yourself Monday” is a very friendly place to post my writings/poems, and I’m very grateful for being given the opportunity to be here on your excellent site. My poem today I wrote last night, I hope it’s suitable for your readers.

  2. Hello Everyone.

Close to 800 000 people die due to suicide every year, which is one person every 40 seconds. And, for every person committing suicide, there are 20 who have attempted it (Data from WHO).

We need to help our fellow human beings. They need to know that the world doesn’t become a “better place” after they leave. They need to understand that they will leave a void so deep, it can’t be filled. They need to know they are loved.

So, I wrote this poem from 3 perspectives: a. The victim before the attempt; b. The victim during the attempt; c. A loved one after the attempt.

Please read and spread the word and love.

  4. Good morning from hot and muggy West Coast of Florida. NO SNOW IN THE FORECAST!
Thank you for the free space to share. I have found some new friends, and vice-versa. My latest blog is long, about type face and typography. Sometimes I do shorter, more “academic” pieces, like personal responses to what I might find in my journals or in magazines–or on my book shelves. I never was the poet. Sorry, friends. However, Emily, Walt, and John Milton have been my friends for a long while. Again, Thank you from me and my memoriesofatime blog: https://memoriesofatime.blog/2018/08/20/robert-fulghum-have-we-forgotten/

  5. This is a sketch written in response to a WOD prompt suggestion. I had been thinking about a book I read some time ago, Rough Trip Through Paradise, by Andy Garcia. In the book, Garcia tells of searching what we now call the Big Hole Battlefield with his Nez Perce wife for the remains of a relative, her father, I believe.
That got me thinking about a people trying to flee and find sustenance in a once beloved, now hostile country.

  7. Hello every body, I’m new to this page but happy to have found it! I’m sending a link here for those interested in knowing my work. I write in English and in Italian (country where I was born) but mostly in English. I got a few poetry books out some bilingual. My latest work has sprung from my exploration of the desert of South California, the Coachella area to be more exact. Well, enough said, this poem will lead you to more poems, I’d love to hear from you ❤ https://wordpress.com/post/annamosca.com/7584
