Thoughtfully written, as we poets do, about wanting the world to listen to our passionate words …
The World’s Crimes (a Tanka)
One line at a time
We shall persistently climb
Above the world’s crimes
That bear no reason or rhyme
To making the peace bells chime

Have always loved sunflowers now they take on more meaning since the war in Ukraine began. May fields of them bloom again soon to cover the wounds of this war.

Yes indeed Cheryl … I walk pass the sunflowers at the local kindergaten’s beautiful garden and I cannot help from being motivated to keep writing about the terrible war in the Ukraine

Those surface bruises always go deeper Penny …
: Veneer Bruises
All surfaces bruise
Not all bruises can be seen
Pain permeates all

I decided to start the week by translating a surrealist Spanish poem. It turned out to be an interesting challenge. https://bilocalalia.wordpress.com/2023/01/30/actual-translation/

Very nice. We just finished watching a series last night called, “Echoes” about twin sisters. Your poem reminded me of it. Thanks for sharing.

Just catching up, I know it’s Thursday!! Here’s my post from Saturday. I think I’m finding a little niche with suspenseful stories. This one is called ‘Under the Radar’, which I’ve also turned into a podcast, my latest adventure for 2023. Thanks for the opportunity to share.
