    • Now you have me thinking Thalamus … Who do I write for? … hmmm, mainly I write for myself, but I also like to connect with my audience … my poems are diverse and cover a myriad of topics … they can be emotional and personal, protest commentary on world politics, wars, nature, and societies attitudes … all these and more are what I like to capture in my poems … and I like to write every day, and writing is my fundamental source of enjoyment … yes … I write for the “enjoyment” …

      • I think that really comes across in your writing which is what makes it so relatable and accessable. I think that ultimately people will connect with writing from the heart, whether they agree with what you say or not, if it’s heartfelt, they will at least engage. 🤗

  2. An outstanding poem Kammie … evocative, emotional, and passionate… these lines are typical of your compelling piece …
“Astonished at the greedy whose hearts are set-
    Never fulfilled never enough,
Having it “all” must be tough.”

I bet if you are one of those who cannot stand wastage like me, you would do what I did. Well, I turned my stomach into a waste basket since I was unwilling to store or throw away the leftover. Does this sound familiar?
