Such a beautifully poetic story Joyce, and I especially loved these lines
“ And breeze its companion,
With whom it loved to dance.”

What a kind thing to do! I write to help others, which ultimately always helps me. A blip from the post, “What I’ve learned is that I stayed by my family who hurt me because I needed something from them. Something I learned they could never give me. The problem with staying close to them was it kept the erected, fake story of deception alive.”

Spring Cleaning 🌷I left social contexts with rigid divides – ones where separating lines were drawn in permeant black marker with a clear “in and out” mindset.

Yes we have had a lot of forced time at home over the past 2 years, and I too have found myself being more self reflective, and I have started to appreciate myself and understand what I have actually achieved over the last 10 years … Thank you for your insightful article ..

hi, poet friends!
I’m feeling rather emotionally stuffed up & this limerick was born of that frustrating, frightened feeling just a few minutes ago –

I’m sorry, but the final stanza of your intereting poem is very difficult to read ..

In relation to the first two stanzas, the last one continues to implicitly elaborate the will and power of a dreamer. It depicts elements like; collaboration, thought sharing, settling a purpose and consistency as basic neccesities towards attaining the desired results: “A life of fruits”.
