A Moment of Nature- Michael Erickson

Capture this before eyelashes meet,

When reality crosses paths with fiction.

Transporting us away to places never seen,

Our very breath is stilled,

And each sense freezes with natural awe.

It is here where healing lies,

Weary bones feel a comforting peace,

As Mother Nature reminds us to pause and reflect.

Mindless babbling of a distracted world,

Gives way to silence of a million living things.

Energy in balance waits for our connection,

Linking us to a world far larger than ourselves.

We belong in these arms of life,

A place is made for our existence.

And for this unending span,

When our eyes have yet to open.

We must wait and listen,

For the tranquility that lies in this moment.
