Halloween, Age 15
The full moon rose
like the Great Pumpkin
my little brother
went begging as a hobo
I bullied candy
snuck out to meet
some fellow teenage boys
under that same moon
High in the sky lighting
our swath of destruction
through the neighborhood
a late autumn tornado
I still revel in that glorious sight
of toilet papered trees in the moonlight
