Laughter amid the inclement chaos
Isn’t mom nature the feisty one!
Makes one wish for escapism
A wiseacre forecast reflects confusion
Trending deluges of nature’s moodiness
Every living thing in harm’s way
Choices become a cumbersome task
Happenstance governs our fate
And those generations after us
Need they experience the same
Guesstimate of their existence
Earth’s future a speculation
inclement
moods
bring stormy times
The three-line poem at the end is a piku. A ‘piku’ is a haiku mixed with the first few digits of pi (3.14), and the aim is to get the message across in the eight syllables (3-1-4).
First line: 3 syllables
Second line: 1 syllable
Third line: 4 syllables

I like how “mom nature” is “feisty”

Her moody ways are certainly warranted
As humans continue her destruction unabated
