I started blogging on WordPress in June 2017, and this poem was one of my first posts from back then…
There’s Room
“It’s A Small World”, they say
My dog, she was tiny
The little courtyard was hers
My house is small
The lounge/dining, is enough
My kitchen is like a galley
The laundry/bathroom, is clean
My bedroom is broad
A double-bed, and studio desk
My bookcase and humble vaults
A display of history and trinkets
My photos, and poetry books
A room, resonating Leonard’s ballads
My space, my words, and my dreams
My room, a song for you
“Oh. Where are you?”
The room where “Tullawalla” was written …
