Now is the time for excitement,
As my side of this globe tilts toward the sun.
Warmth returns to these coldest parts,
As I remember once forgotten dreams.
Peace do I find as life digs deep,
Awakening in that which was once frozen.
Endless does my soul stretch,
No longer worried by frost bitten thoughts.
As a beast emerging from a long hibernation,
I shake off accumulated cold.
And with languid strides reach for green,
Rolling these old bones about in the smells of life.
Let me lie amongst those budding things,
And watch as tiny leaves unfurl.
Oh how I love to see these seasons change,
Reminding me that all things must refresh and adapt.
Let me change with the new,
Growing to reach azure blue skies.

A lovely capture of spring arriving. And I’m also enjoying the buds and blossoms growing on the trees, as well as the spring flowers. Great sights after the winter.
