You’ve left your touch upon my heart,
Ringing deep within these bones.
I felt the depths of blue glaciers pass,
Between deeply laid evergreens.
Some only see your frosted surface,
And spit defiance and rage agains what I love.
Your embrace numbs the hurt upon this soul,
And I liquify your insecurities.
Oh how I love you upon ice and snow,
As we stare into a clear night sky.
You’ve shown me glimpses into a star-filled void,
And I see what others cannot, the beauty beyond mortal fears.
Now let us embrace and never be parted,
As we become one within an aurora’s light.
Up, up, up we climb,
Leaving behind what has held us bound.
And now I feel your truest self,
As I shed my form and scatter within the dark.
Love me within the dust of time,
And I will speak peace to you for eternity.
