Welcome to Promote a Poet/Writer Thursday! This is the day of the week where all members of the Go Dog Go Café Community are invited to introduce a Poet or Writer they enjoy reading.

Participating is really fast and simple- in the comments below, post the link for the Home Page of the Poet/Writer you are introducing to us and tell us briefly why you think they are special.

We encourage all of you to visit these blogs (or social media pages) and get acquainted with some great new writers. You never know who you might meet. . .

Happy reading!

  1. Ooooh I love this idea!! I don’t even have to think about it. Keith at https://keithsramblings.net/ is a no-brainer for me. He is so quirky and exceptionally creative!! He puts such a unique and hilarious twist on everything he produces. I always laugh out loud, in the literal sense. Every time I see he has posted, it’s an immediate click for me, and I’m NEVER disappointed. He has a knack for spinning what could be a monotonous take on a prompt, into something only found in my craziest dreams. I always leave both inspired to up my own game, and with a huge goofy smile on my face. Visit Keith! You can thank me later 🙂

  2. If you are a fan of the lyrics of Stephen Malkmus or Beefheart or lyrical, angular poetry that clicks, that whirrs, that hums, that stretches, then I would suggest you seek out the bony poetry of Bob aka Naive Haircuts. Beyond his WP work I know very little of him, but I know enough. He can be found here: https://naivehaircuts.com

    Peas xo
