seems,
once upon a lifestyle
betraying motions
became ludicrous noise.
seems,
once upon a lifetime, we
learned to endure last
moments among lost hope.
seems,
once in a lifetime
we could imagine
reasons of today.

I’m glad my poem speaks to you. I originally wrote this poem in April 2020. What’s interesting is I have poems I wrote a few of years ago that relate to current times. Go figure!

I know, Ivor. I wrote this in April of 2020. The beat goes on but I wish we had the option of which beat we want to walk to. 🥁🧡 💛 💚 💙

Beauty of poetry well-written – it doesn’t lose it relevancy.
