A wondrously forthright post, and loved outstanding punchline
” I, Lord of Misrule:
Crown this a glorious feast of earthly fools!’”
Happy New Year Ingrid…

Happy New year to you! I do hope it gets better, but I think we need to address the main cause of the problem (us) rather than blaming it all on 2020!

I thoroughly resonated with your every word Mary, as I sit here in my old fav’ sweater (at least 20years old)… which is too tatty to wear out, but I lovingly wear around the house… a distant gift from my uncle in High River, Canada, who passed 8 years ago, and I cherish the memories it wraps me with…

That’s wonderful, Ivor! The fact that your ratty seater was a gift from a special uncle makes it worth saving and wearing.

Your article strongly resonates with me and touched my heart… and yes we move on…
“On and On We Go”
every second, a commitment
every breath, a moment
every moment, a feeling
every feeling has a heartbeat
and the beat goes on and on
a soft beat to every step, to and fro
and step by step the moments go
a quest for answers never stops
until our eternal sun drops

My talented friend Ivor suggested I stop by here (I am a follower anyway) and share something on Promote Yourself Monday. I’m more of a prose writer than a poet. My blogs Humoring the Goddess and Sunday Evening Art Gallery encourage CREATIVITY in all its glorious forms. So here is a blog that says it all: https://humoringthegoddess.com/2020/11/20/creativity-again-and-again/

A very relatable story Thomas… in the back corner of our yard there was a large peppercorn tree… which I would climb up, and sit in my fav’ spot, and I would dream about the world below me….
