Powerfully tragic Ingrid, and suicide sits sadly in my heart… ..(my grand-niece, jumped in front of train…)

I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope you didn’t find this too upsetting to read. I put the warning at the start for this reason. My mum drowned herself so it’s a subject close to my heart too, but I wouldn’t want to open wounds for anyone who is not at the right stage of the grieving process to deal with this.

I’m ok Ingrid, it’s just so terribly sad

Thank you for sharing this Ingrid. It is such a tradgedy when someone takes their own life and it is important to thin aabout how we can help those who struggle with suicidal thoughts. Thank you for sharing this with the cafe. I sit in respectful silence.

Ha, it’s Monday and I realise it 🙂 Today’s link brings two poems. One is in the picture and comes from my book. The other one is beneath the picture and was inspired by black Friday frustration. The name of the poem has changed since then. It has become ‘Golden Friday’, instead of ‘What’s the colour of art Friday’.

Love this idea of Golden Friday. A day where you are able to accomplish so many of the things you desire. A fantastic piece! Thanks for sharing with the cafe, I think we all should take away the values of Golden Friday.

Hello everyone!
I would like to share a poem of mine that I had written during the early days of the pandemic and when we were all forced to stay at home. While the agony and the frustration of having to cope with the new sort of isolation was bad, one always found some solace in company of nature, something which was not always easy to have during the routine days of work-life. Sans pollution, nature also took on brilliant hues at times and this poem of mine was on one such day when sunlight seemed to bathe the whole world in pristine glory.

Hello everyone!
I run a series called Blogging Insights where I ask blogging related questions on a different topic every Monday.
I usually answer then myself first to set the ball rolling. You can answer them in my comments section or in a blog post of your own. I have learned a lot from other bloggers in this way.

Most authors I know used their names for the URL as well as for their website, so I went in that direction; I included author as my first and last name by themselves had been taken. The subtitle refers to the fact that I have written different things and want to continue to do so.

“On and On We Go
every second, a commitment
every breath, a moment
every moment, a feeling
every feeling has a heartbeat
and the beat goes on and on
a soft beat to every step, to and fro
and step by step the moments go
a quest for answers never stops
until our eternal sun drops”
