Throwback Friday – “Lack of levity” – Eugenia

“I’m going to stay up on New Year’s Eve this year. Not to see the New Year in, but to make sure this one leaves.” compliments of Comedy Plus

“Until further notice, the days of the week are now called, thisday, thatday, otherday, someday, yesterday, today and nextday.” compliments of Comedy Plus

you know music tells us a lot

there’s no end, there’s no plot

some favor the same old song

whether the lyrics right or wrong

takes more than one hand to clap

only a thumb and a finger to snap

selfless selfies wave naive

no one cares what they believe

keep in mind what you were taught

no doubts over what you sought

how we view deception too lame

too much hoopla over who to blame

nearing the end of an unsettling year

peaceful paths hopefully near

you know music tells a lot

there’s no end there’s no plot
