calming of summer
neath a mellow yellow sky
clouds drift lazily
crickets sing and swoon
winking at the Full Corn Moon
stars spill their secrets
morning glories yawn
rising sun la marmalade
autumn in-between

“Departing summer hath assumed
An aspect tenderly illumed,
The gentlest look of spring;
That calls from yonder leafy shade
Unfaded, yet prepared to fade,
A timely carolling.”
– William Wordsworth, September
Love the last stanza.
