a year of oddities and surprises
yet, the sun still sets and rises
the population grows as do our woes
do we suppose, propose or oppose
there’s chaos, famines, and disease
mother earth has skinned her knees
life’s show-and-tell the same old song
dunno who’s right nor who’s wrong
hey, hey, what’s that sound
best keep an ear to the ground

A gander at me –
I enjoyed a dedicated career in the insurance industry for over 20 years being rewarded both professionally and personally. Now it’s time for me to follow my dreams by doing things I enjoy…spending time with family, learning, sharing, traveling, writing poetry, and encouraging others to pursue their goals.

Throwback to my Tuesday Chatter series, since retired.
A great piece lyrical rhyme, and this lovely line made me both grimace and smile…
“do we suppose, propose or oppose”

Yes, Mother Earth is getting a well-deserved break but I feel it won’t last long.
