Excuse My French by Lazarus Shatipamba

You are amazing. Remember that.

Please, excuse my French
I’ve never been to Paris
I’ve never seen the Eiffel tower
So my pronunciation is preposterous.

Forgive me, if I don’t sound nice
In the language of your forefathers.

French is not my first language
It’s not even my second
Or my third.
It’s my fourth
Which I’m only just beginning to learn.
