Blueberry,
the scent still etched in my mouth
lips ravenous, searching for an answer
to years of solitude
admit the wandering, and land safely on me
I’ve never felt you so close, touched so often
the object of man’s desire
wars have been fought in the name
of this equally soul crushing and spirit lifting
treasure
And I found the key tonight
somewhere in between the sweater and lace
time, stopped
and voices hushed to a child’s whisper
please, don’t stop
I searched your mouth for every last stain
and replaced it with my hearts pure energy
I love you
I never cared about what your body looked like
only that you kept in my sight
it’s incredible to think what we discovered
when we laid down last night
Awesome post, My Friend!!! Wonderfully penned!!! Bellissimo!!
