Thank you for the opportunity to share a post. Here is a poem composed back in 2016. It is, I guess a sort of stream of consciousness piece, or maybe more akin to an interior monalogue, https://kmorrispoet.com/2016/05/30/composed-more-or-less-in-realtime-while-sitting-in-a-garden/. Slightly over the word count, but I drew the picture and wrote the story based off of my grandmother and some of her last words to me. She passed yesterday—the day after I saw her—and I truly hope she is now at peace. https://rosejfairchild.wordpress.com/2020/02/23/metamorphosis-a-story-of-life-and-death/

Rose, my deepest condolences to you. When my grandmother passed it was heartbreaking, so I know these emotions well. As my dear friend Christine says… we hold you and your Grandmother in the light.

Thank you. She was very much like a mother to me and had a huge hand in raising my siblings and I. Thank you for your kind words.❤️

I am so sorry for your loss Rose, your story is devastatingly beautiful. “tis a fearful thing to love what death can touch” – Yehuda Levi. May her soul rest in peace.

Recently cut off 18 inches of hair, so naturally I had to write a poem about it!

Loved this. But what exactly is the Serpant’s Tail form?

slyly moves this sentiment – that was profound, describing the intent so vividly

So much fun! And I especially like the quote you chose…I’m reading a fascinating book titled Going Sane and in the early chapters this quote is the basic thesis…that the real madness is when we try to conform to others but true sanity is found when we accept and embrace our individual quirks and uniqueness. Write on ❤️
