I believe most of us have been there. I think of written pieces like art. The beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Besides, you can’t please all the people all the time.

I think that’s also when you make your mark as a writer. Because not everyone likes even the bigger works out there like Harry Potter. Gotta have people who like it mixed in with people who don’t.
Just hopefully the number of people who enjoy your work is greater than the ones who don’t.
