with eyes that sparkle, light and comfort all around you

with strength that challenges the most arduous of test

losing some locks will not drain your beauty or your fight

your overwhelming aura from within continues to shine unmatched

hair will return where the beauty is that never left

I wrote this piece about 8 years ago. Prompted by my wife beginning to lose her hair as a result of her cancer treatment. Beauty is from within.
