Starving-Megha Sood

I see you in the viridity of those
rainwashed leave
I envision you
in dewdrop drenched petals
I hear your voice
in those humming bees
I look for your warm hues
In the crimson shades of the
setting sun
as it rests in its beauty
soulfully in the shoulder of night
I follow your fragrance
those roses carry
and the sweetness in the
honey gathered eternally
by those bees
I look for every
fleeting trace of you
I sense,
I crave,
I long for you
Alas! only the strokes of
this giving nature
can quench my thirst for you
Oh! my love
I’m starving for thee.
