The prompts are designed to be quick challenges that can be written in 10 to 15minutes, inspire you creatively, are fun, and get everyone interacting. Please post your response to the prompt in the comments below and show your fellow posters some love and support. All members of the Go Dog Go community, including Baristas, are welcome to participate. Feel free to share this post on your own blogs and/or Facebook.

That sliver of light
at the crack of the early dawn
laced with the hope and the desires
in equal proportion
That sliver of bright light
carrying a million dreams
as a speck traveling on its filigree ends
That sliver of light
the demarcation between the darkness and light
that thin fading light is the
hope I carry in my heart
that breaks the darkness within.

Pingback: The fading light – Tim Ryan
It came from the sea.
No one knew its name.
One of a kind.
Us all the same.
Slowly rising, it turned to face us in the fading light.
So, friends, what will it be? Run – or fight?

In fading light
I see you
Your touch no longer there
Your heart still throbs
Beside me
But no more
Your silken hair
Your morning’s breath
Is frozen
No longer soothes the air
But there you are
beside me
I know that still
You care
Forever
in the sunrise
I’ll clutch the cross you bear
Awaiting
Till the sun dies
That death
We then will share
