Ode to the Sun- Michael Erickson

Dance round these roots of gray,

And sing a song of blessed rain.

Drops of water cry ye down,

Upon our heads, we pray.

The winter has passed far beyond the North,

and our hope is here to stay.

Empty are our fears,

And so raise our hopes.

Rise up oh sun of Spring,

Fill deep the coffers of yesterday.
