Tuesday Writing Prompt Challenge: March 5, 2019

Devereaux Frazier and Beth Amanda are currently hosting the Tuesday Writing Prompt Challenge which was started by our star writer Christine Ray. We hope to offer all of you something that will spark your creativity and willingness to participate.

The prompts are designed to be quick challenges that can be written in 10 to 15minutes, inspire you creatively, are fun, and get everyone interacting.  Please post your response to the prompt in the comments below and show your fellow posters some love and support.  All members of the Go Dog Go community, including Baristas, are welcome to participate.  Feel free to share this post on your own blogs and/or Facebook.

Today’s Prompt: Use the phrase Where your soul goes

  1. ‘My heart soars, an outer body experience, as if watching over you, caressing, pulsing love, coalescing into yours. I may be where I am, but not really, there is a shell, a semblance of a man, my heart is where your heart is, my soul is where your soul goes. I feel reborn, as if my life begun the day you first messaged me, to come of age the day we touch, the day we speak, the day, each with the other, we complete.’

  2. “Though long ago you left me, I have not forgotten you. I follow where your soul goes, I feel your essence beating in my own heart, and I know you have not truly gone. No, you remain here, in my own soul, until the day we are one again, together forever, where not even death, can come between us.”

    i think you are
    wrong to stand in my
    way. you seek to
    destroy all that
    is left in my brain.
    i did kill a man
    with blows from my hand.
    fiercely to his bones
    i ploughed.
    i ripped out his
    soul and threw it away
in a tin not too much
    unlike you. i own this
    nirvana of concrete and pain.

i watch all the sinners and i watch
    all the saints on my
circadian treks. i am not lonely
in spite of my face for look
to my right there is my race.
    unbeknown to them yet though
here i stand. they are nearing
    the end of the bind.
    soon i will
usher them to this abysmal entry.
    where your soul goes
and the killing continues with the will
    of their hand.

thank you for the opportunity. much love from LA

  11. Where your soul goes, it shall never be alone~
Like rain becomes an ocean, and brick becomes a wall, you plus me became a greater source. We became one. Our unity was destiny, the marvelous work of a Kind Craftsman. Let no problem of man or force of nature destroy our solid truth.
