The mysterious gloom is charcoal black
for our luminous moon has disappeared
stars no longer gleam and as we feared
The mysterious gloom is charcoal black
For our luminous moon has disappeared
Once dazzling sun lost and lonely without
with earth’s future now in serious doubt
For our luminous moon has disappeared
Once dazzling sun lost and lonely without
the bright orb to share its warming light
in deep dark blackest coldest of nights
Once dazzling sun lost and lonely without
The mysterious gloom is charcoal black
for our luminous moon has disappeared
stars lose their gleam and as we feared
The mysterious gloom is charcoal black
