Waiting You Out-Devereaux Frazier

Some of us don’t have anyone that we’re trying to attain. Others are too busy standing in place to notice the people waving right in our face. I know someone, who thinks they have someone. If you don’t work for her, someone else will. People think that once they’re in a relationship, life gets easy. If anything, it gets harder. Not ever enough to just have someone, you have to keep them. Or want to. Nobody lives in a vacuum, and if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. I waited eighteen years for someone like you, so if you think a few months will tap me out, you’re wrong. My lungs have been burned. My heart has been bruised. My back has been riddled with pains. I know what it’s like to be tempted, to be taught. I will dig deep into no man’s land and wait you out. You can scar me with wire, and riddle me with hellfire, but I can’t be moved. I rose from the dead without an ounce of care for anyone but the one I was meant to.
