Winter is Here

Winter is here, can you hear?

Rustling in the trees.

Darkening the skies.

Chilling the nights.

Winter is here, can you feel?

Wrap up your scarf.

Lace up your boots.

Cinch close your hood.

Winter is here, can you taste?

Put the kettle on.

Simmer the soup on low.

Pull out warm toasted loaves.

Winter is here, can you smell?

Stoke the fire up white hot.

Brush the snow off pine branch.

Follow each rich burning scent.

Winter is here.
