I Took A Walk
On Christmas Morning
In A Wonderful Cooling Mist
With Plenty Of Time
To Count My Blessings
As I Wandered Down
Memory Lane To Reminisce
I Had So Much
To Be Thankful For
Counting Out Each One
Parading Out My Memories
And Gifts, And Things I’ve Done
I’ve Walked A Crooked Path
In The Life That I Have Had
And Each Day Has Been A Steppingstone
Through Times, Happy And Some Sad
And Not One Thing
Would I Be Willing To Change
Though Some Things
Cut Me Like A Knife
For The Slightest Detour
Would Have Put Me Off Course
And I’ve Learned That All In All
I Have A Wonderful Life!!

This is so lovely! So true about how there are things that “cut us like a knife”, but those things have helped shape us into who we are.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
