Well stated, whether yes or no, either path takes courage to face. Only you can surmise the sincerity of his plea to come back and measure it with the pain he inflicted. Courageously you made a choice and tho times may be rough, you will do well. Excellent writing and self analysis.

Thank you. You are right, both decisions require bravery and with both decisions you lose something. I can only hope now that I have made the best decision for me and one where I can find some kind of peace in time. It’s really difficult but I know one day I will come out the other side.
