It wasn’t supposed to be this way. I’m all alone in a house full of memories. The kids are grown and gone, and empty rooms are left where giggles and night time stories used to be. I left to survive, but I’m dying inside. All that’s here is the crushing silence of sleepless nights with the ghosts of yesterday. SLV
