The You in Me

Barista Megha shares this poem on solitude from a beautiful poet

I am mostly me

but a bit of you

always lingers in me

I can smell you

on my pillow

And the letters

you send me

I can feel your touch

on my cheek

And your whispers

in my ears

When I am

in a crowded room

I see your mocking smile

When I am all alone

you stand yonder

watching me lazily

You are the

beat in my heart

The song

on my lip

Everywhere I go

Everything I do

The you in me

Refuses to leave me alone.
