How you wrap around
every thought and ache
sliding unsolicited
into places
I never knew existed
touching warm silence
awakening unread pages
strong hands
crying to read
every inch of my skin
for the first time
then over and over again
story touching your soul
and your mind
is lost
in the abandon of flesh
escaping into pleasures
the gods wished upon us
granting fantasy
to mortals
craving what no human
should have

Beth, as always, beautiful and sensual words that seem to reach beyond the physical connection to some more inherent need – connection and recognition of a deeper hiddden part of our humanity. This lines strike me most:
I never knew existed
touching warm silence
awakening unread pages
But the whole thing, as always, just so beautiful.
Thank you Barista!
