About Franci Eugenia Hoffman

I have held various positions in the insurance industry for over 20 years. I have been rewarded both professionally and personally due to results from taking responsibility and hard work. My fulfillment comes from the promotion of others.

“Veil after veil of thin dusky gauze is lifted, and by degrees the forms and colours of things are restored to them, and we watch the dawn remaking the world in its antique pattern.”

Wonderful sentiment, Eugenia, in fact, much like Abbey’s poem reflects how we are all broken piecing it together and beautiful for the piecing, your haiku reflects how to be human is to change, and we can accept it or we can deny our humanity. Thank you for sharing, Barista!

    • You’re welcome and I am so glad you enjoyed my haiku. I love the last line of the haiku in your comment “jump in the leaf pile”. There are many ways to interpret it and I like to think of the leaf pile as a blanket of comfort that will help us through.
