I’m anchored
grounded,
in your heart
where my soul
is resting
peacefully
undisturbed
in its tranquility
unaware
of the turbid emotions taking
birth in me
A fleeting touch
of your palms
make the eyelids
heavier
dreams are becoming
reality
I have put
my worries to rest
as I rest my soul in your lap
your breath,
a sweet zephyr,
a gentle touch
my trepidations are dying
an untimely death
leaving the humdrum
of life
drifting away slowly
Dipped in
the exuberance of your life
my heart is moored to yours
I’m taking down the sails now
slowly and gently.

Gradually, the boat of love moves on its own, sans sails- so beautifully put, Megha!
