Droplets fall from the roof above,
As I hold your body to mine.
Sorrow drowns your mind,
Threatening to pull us apart.
Abide these fears with me.
As anxiety strangles your voice,
You slip from my embrace.
And down you fall,
Feeling far from grace,
Abide all doubts with me.
As clouds weep upon the earth,
And hope fades as you struggle on.
Remember who stands with you,
Drenched in this same deluge.
Abide the rain with me.
