Hi there’s only one poem I could nominate this week. As a Windsor based poet I had to do one for the Royal Wedding https://andrewagreen.uk/2018/05/15/poem-for-the-royal-wedding/

I don’t post many poems on my blog because that’s not really what it’s about. But yesterday, I had a whim to post my very first poem, which I wrote in 3rd grade. https://owlinthewood.com/blog/2018/5/19/first-poem-the-leaves-are-falling-down

Hi Laura-
Doesn’t need to be a poem. Prose, flash fiction, and short essay is okay too as long as it is less than 600 words.

I used to live on the Northern California Coast among the redwoods and will never quite get having lived there out of my system. Lovely, Charles. Your haiku evokes the lure of the sea so well.

Hello everyone out there 🙂
Moving to a new country always calls for some big and small adjustments. Here is one of those changes that I had to accommodate in my life when I shifted my base to a new place. Hope you like it and have a wonderful week ahead.

That must have been a big change for you. It’s very different in the U.S. You have to have a good income to pay someone to clean your house, and they don’t really do dishes. I’m glad you and your husband worked it out! That’s great that you split the chores.

Hello, I have a poem here called Solitary Existence. It is about how sufferings in life can lead us to expect nothing more than a lonely life.
I used to think that people around me can help me get out of dark alleys, but after some events, I realized that I’m on my own. Only I can confront my demons and my difficult circumstances. This poem may be a bit dark and pessimistic, but hope you guys understand.

Dear all, I am Sona and I write romantic love poetry on my blog. I am sharing the link of one of my personal favourite poems titled Do you? My love. It reflects the sweet and curious questions of a girl to her “special man”, whom she hasn’t met yet but loves to talk to in her mind. These are my words from heart and I hope you all will adore it as much as I do. Do visit my blog for more sweet love poems. X
