  1. Eugenia, “Memories in Bloom” is a lovely, and smile evoking haiku. I love brevity, it asks the reader to pay attention. Your words are beautifully quiet, yet they demand with a whispered voice that we, the reader, take a sunny trip down memory lane. Thank you for this! ~ Mia

  2. Eugenia, Mia’s comment contains all the insight, and she is so very right. A good haiku tells such a powerful story with few words and demands the reader go back again and again to uncover what is really inside their own heart, memories, or experience. And yours… is a VERY good haiku. Blooms laugh playfully tells so much… nature’s persistent beauty, how it endures in spite of the darkness that may exist between humans, the importance of connecting spiritually to nature to find the child in each of us. Very wonderful, indeed. — Stephen
