Today’s prompt: The Erotic Everyday
Choose an everyday activity— washing the dishes, chopping vegetables, mowing the lawn, going grocery shopping, etc.—and write a poem or piece of prose in which you make this everyday experience sound erotic.
Example:
Love Affair
my fingers ache
to caress black keys
coax moans and sighs
from cast iron throat
tease letters sensuously into syllables
syllables into words
until a climax
of passionate verse
spills forth
upon my page

As I’m here I thought I’d leave a little something…
Lay between the lines
Pressed by their subconscious
The wet of their wanting
The pierce of unheard screams
Dare you read their needs?

A chaotic mess it was
A kitchen conspiracy
The stove lost its virginity
The frig left the vicinity
The dishwasher is in therapy
The plot, a breach of warranty
I’m beyond enjoying the hilarity

Very interesting. Thank you.
Apt fingers gliding along curves,
Caressing the velvet.
Finding the right angles,
and bending swiftly…
It gives in without a fuss,
pliant under skillful, practiced moves –
The blanket folds neatly.

Delicates lathered,
Spinning in soapy stimulation,
Humming with vibrations,
Sodden and soused,
Cycle crescendos.
Hush now,
Spent.

She lays there expectantly
Her body open to me
I love the feel of her
Running my fingers along her edge
Reveling in the anticipation of her and what we’ll do
We’re finally together again
I gently open her wider
She is the master of meeting my needs and she is mine
I slide in my gear…pushing and pulling …until she is full.
Our gear is now one, we are ready
Adventure awaits
Wanderlust
