There’s nothing like hitching a ride
over the moon
But do we boogie or ballet
with the spoon
Best you ask the fairytale teller
at high noon
Mother goose and farmer in the dell
love letters strewn
Provoking a mill full of rumors
they wanted to swoon
But the cow wouldn’t jump over the moon
until the month of June
Oh, shadows of twiddle sticks
the universe is out of tune
Ah, mom nature has shared a gentle boon
casting magic on my red balloon
There’s nothing like hitching a ride
over the moon
